Buzz Musings
If only to distract me from reading for a moment more… The Buzz hosted their interest meeting tonight. I worked the news room last semester and look forward to doing it again this semester in some capacity. Also, when it looked like I would be applying for my own show, my friend Matt from Bonacoustics expressed interest. I hope we get it, as it would be quite awesome to host an awesome...

Twilight Sucks!: 100 reasons why Twilight sucks. →
abctaylor: I can’t remember where I found this, but I saved it. 1. Bella is a perfect character (“Mary Sue”), which Meyer hides by calling her clumsy. 2. Being clumsy is not a flaw if Edward always catches her. 3. She can’t do anything without Edward. 4. And when he leaves she attempts to…

In response to this article: http://movies.yahoo.com/news/movies.ap.org/twilight-airbender-lead-razzies-with-9-noms-ap OK, I’m not a teenager, Matter of fact I’m 62 years old and I don’t care what any one says, I love the Twilight’s movies. I have watched all three movies, Twilight, New moon, and Eclipse, and I have to say ( Taylor Lautner) played as Jacob in New Moon, He...

Sam: I know. It's all wrong. By rights we shouldn't even be here. But we are. It's like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger, they were. And sometimes you didn't want to know the end. Because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end, it's only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you. That meant something, even if you were too small to understand why. But I think, Mr. Frodo, I do understand. I know now. Folk in those stories had lots of chances of turning back, only they didn't. They kept going. Because they were holding on to something.
Frodo: What are we holding onto, Sam?
Sam: That there's some good in this world and its worth fighting for.

It is a shame that we have to be reminded of life’s fragility through such tragedy. Prayers and thoughts with Matthew Dungan’s friends and family. RIP -Yung Roghuz-

First day back was pretty good, apart from losing my key, but that can be averted tomorrow (with a sad bit of cost). But anyway. -Classes seem like they’ll be pretty engaging and the professors seem to be pretty cool (even the Theology professor who sounds like Bruce from Family Guy and a vehement liberal). I’m looking forward to seeing what tomorrow has in store. -Things with...

I have mixed feelings about returning tomorrow. Part of me is quite excited, but most of me is content here of course. It also doesn’t help that I’ll  be in class on the 17th instead of here for my year/half with Brittany. But so it goes, going to do some packing today! =Yung Roghuz-
